Essay Contest for Associate Producer

The contest offers you two ways of winning. First, if you are interested in acting, you can enter the contest to win an acting part in the movie. Or second, you can win an Associate Producers position with the movie. (See details below.) Either way these will be exciting ways to become involved in movie making. Contest begins June 18, 2010 and ends October 29, 2010. We look forward to working with the winners.

1. Eligibility. Any legal resident of United States or Canada, age eighteen (18) or over can enter, except employees, agents, or representatives of Snow Leopard Films, LTD (the "Sponsor") or any member of their immediate family.
2. Sponsor. The Sponsor of this Promotion is Snow Leopard Films, LTD., P. O. Box 778034, Henderson, Nevada 89077.
3. Timing. Promotion begins Friday, June 18, 2010 and ends on Friday, October 29, 2010 at 11:59pm, PST.
4. How to Enter. To enter, you must send an essay of 250 words or less on "Why you want to be an Associate Producer in KARR POOL, the Movie ". The winning entry will receive an associate producer position in that movie. All essays must be neatly handwritten or typed, double-spaced. Illegible submissions will be automatically disqualified. Send: 1) your name and current correct address, phone number and email address; 2) a 250 word or less essay; 3) Entry fee. Each entry must contain all of the above information to be eligible. Mail all entries to: Snow Leopard Films, LTD - Contest, P. O. Box 778034, Henderson, Nevada 89077. Entry Fee. There is a non-refundable $100.00 entry fee.
5. Multiple entries are accepted. You may submit entries to both the Essay Contest for Acting and the Essay Contest for Producing, at the same time. You can enter as many times as you want.
6. Entry fees paid by mail or PayPal (online payment service). If fee is paid online, a $3.00 transaction fee will be assessed per entry. Each entry must be paid individually if using the PayPal payment option. All entries will be assigned an Entry Identification Number. This number will be mailed/emailed to you upon receipt of your contest entry payment. If payment is made online the entry identification number must appear on your entry. You can then mail/email entry once you have attached the identification number. Note: The deadline to send payments/entries is 11:50pm, PST, October 29, 2010. Essays submitted without an entry fee will be disqualified.
7. Payment types. If sending entry fees via mail, Snow Leopard Films will accept money orders, cashiers checks, and personal checks, made to the order of: Snow Leopard Films. Cash payments can be submitted, but sender assumes all associated risk. Entries will not be considered valid until payment has been processed. Snow Leopard Films, LTD is not responsible for lost entries or payments. There are no limits to your entries. Entries will not be returned.
8. Electronic Entries. Entries sent electronically must be sent as email attachments in a word processing document such as, Microsoft Word (.doc) or (docx), KARR POOL Movie Essay Contest for Associate Producer must be typed in the subject line of the email. The personal information requested must be included with the typed entry. PayPal payment must be made before submitting the entry.
9. Prizes. The most creative essay will be given an associate producers position in the movie "KARR POOL". Winner acknowledges that the position in KARR POOL is accepted at will, and that compensation, financial or otherwise, will not be given for services rendered. The qualified winner of the Essay Contest for Associate Producer will receive an associate producer position with the movie as well as associate producer credit, transportation to and from locations and if applicable will also provide lodging (the "Prize"). If the winner cannot be contacted or does not respond within ten (10) days, an alternate winner may be selected, at the sole discretion of the Judge(s). Winner must submit a current photo within five (5) days of contact.
10. Limitations of Prizes. Sponsor makes no warranties with regard to any prize. No cash or other substitution is permitted, except as provided herein at the Sponsor's sole discretion. Prize is nontransferable, unless otherwise specifically approved by Sponsor in writing.
11. Judge(s). Snow Leopard Films will judge all entries. All decisions of the Judge(s) are final and binding.
12. Release. By receipt of this prize, winner agrees to release and hold harmless Sponsor and its subsidiaries, affiliates, suppliers, distributors, advertising/promotion agencies and each such company's officers, directors, employees and agents (collectively, the "Released Parties") from and against any claim or cause of action, including, but not limited to, personal injury, damage to or loss of property, or death arising out of participation in the Promotion or receipt or use or misuse of any prize or participation in any Promotion-related activity and for any claims based on publicity rights, defamation or invasion of privacy.
13. Publicity. The winner agrees to allow Sponsor to use his or her name, photograph, likeness, voice, and biographical information for publicity and promotional purposes without further compensation where permitted by law.
14. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability. THE RELEASED PARTIES ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR: (1) ANY INCORRECT OR INACCURATE INFORMATION, WHETHER CAUSED BY ENTRANTS, PRINTING ERRORS OR BY ANY OF THE EQUIPMENT UTILIZED IN THE PROMOTION; (2) TECHNICAL FAILURES OF ANY KIND; (3) UNAUTHORIZED HUMAN INTERVENTION IN ANY PART OF THE ENTRY PROCESS OR THE PROMOTION; (4) TECHNICAL OR HUMAN ERROR WHICH MAY OCCUR IN THE ADMINISTRATION OF THE PROMOTION OR THE PROCESSING OF ENTRIES.
15. Privacy and Use of Promotion Information. Any personal information received by Sponsor in connection with this Promotion will be used solely in accordance with Sponsor's privacy policy.
16. Materials. All entry materials become the property of the Sponsor and will not be returned. Entry in this Contest constitutes entrant's irrevocable, perpetual permission and consent, without further compensation or attribution, to use the Submission and the entrant's name and city and state for editorial, advertising, commercial and publicity purposes by the Sponsor and/or others authorized by the Sponsor, in any and all media now in existence or hereinafter created, throughout the world. Each entrant releases and discharges the Sponsor, the judges, any party associated with the Contest and all liability in connection with the Contest, including without limitation, legal claims, costs, injuries, losses or damages, demand or actions of any kind.
17. Governing Law. These Rules and this Promotion are governed by and controlled by the laws of the State of Nevada. All actions, proceedings or litigation relating hereto will be instituted and prosecuted solely within the State of Nevada, Clark County. This Promotion is subject to all applicable laws. Void where prohibited.
18. Winner's Name. The winner will be listed online at www.snowleopardfilms.com within approximately ten (10) days following the end of the Promotion Period.
